Chỉ số trên vỏ xe người học lái xe nên biết

Thông thường trên vỏ xe người ta có ghi những thông số, vậy những thông số đó được hiểu như thế nào, nếu bạn sở hữu một chiếc xe ô tô thì cũng nên biết đôi chút về những thông số được ghi trên vỏ xe, cũng như việc kiểm tra và bảo dưỡng lốp xe thường xuyên giúp tăng tuổi thọ của lốp mà còn hạn chế được những nguy cơ tiềm ẩn tai nạn do bộ phận này gây ra.

Nếu quan tâm hơn bạn có thể nhận biết được ngày sản xuất, chủng loại, tính năng..để đưa ra quyết định thay thế hay tiếp tục sử dụng và sử dụng loại vỏ xe như thế nào là phù hợp.

Những code được ghi trên vỏ xe là những từ viết tắt tiếng anh và theo tiêu chuẩn ISO

Bạn có thể hiểu nôm na như sau:

- Phần chử như: P, LT, ST, T là chỉ về loại xe.

- Những dãy số tiếp theo thể hiện bề rộng của lớp, tỷ lệ, cấu trúc, đường kính, tải trọng

- vậy ta sẽ đọc nó như thế nào

Vd: con xe KIA-CD5 của tôi trên vỏ xe ghi 165/65/R13 77H (xem hình trên).

77H : Load index and speed tra bảng cho chỉ số là 412 kg (910 lb) và tốc độ giới hạn là 210 km/h (130 mph).

An optional letter (or letters) indicating the intended use or vehicle class for the tire:-
        P: Passenger Car
        LT: Light Truck
        ST: Special Trailer
        T: Temporary (restricted usage for "Space-Saver" spare wheels)

        Use of the letter P indicates that the tire is engineered to TRA standards and absence of a letter indicates that the tire is engineered to ETRTO standards. In practice, the standards of the two organizations have evolved together and are virtually interchangable.[5]

    3 digit number: The "nominal section width" of the tire in millimeters; the widest point from both outer edges.
    /: Slash character for character separation.
    2 or 3 digit number: The "aspect ratio" of the sidewall height to the total width of the tire, as a percentage. If the information is omitted, it is assumed to be 82%. If the number is larger than 200, then this is the diameter of the entire tire in millimeters.
    An optional letter indicating construction of the fabric carcass of the tire:
        B: bias belt (where the sidewalls are the same material as the tread, leading to a rigid ride)
        D: diagonal
        R: radial
            if omitted, then it is a cross ply tire
    2 digit number: Diameter in inches of the wheel that the tires are designed to fit. There is the rare exception metric diameter tires, such as the use of the 390 size, which in this case would indicate a wheel of 390 mm in diameter. Few tires are made to this size presently.[6]
    2 or 3 digit number: Load index; see table below
    1 or 2 digit/letter combo: Speed rating; see table below
